West Oz Boardsports is an IKO (International Kiteboard Organisation) accredited school in Shoalwater, Perth Western Australia. We conduct lessons at Shoalwater (or Safety Bay if wind direction is south easterly) as well as travelling the coast of Western Australia promoting kite boarding and standup paddlesurfing with lessons and demos on new gear.

West Oz is a small business with owner, Jason Lewis, being devoted to kiteboarding for 12 years and standup paddleboarding for 3 years. All of our Instructors have been hand picked to fit in with our high expectations. They are all qualified through the IKO and have had extensive windsurfing, wakeboarding and kitesurfing experience and can be trusted to teach you the safest and most complete ways to master this dramatic water sport.

We sell a full range of new and second hand kiteboarding and standup paddleboarding equipment both in our Perth showroom and online throughout Australia including Ozone, Best, Blade, Ocean Rodeo, Wainman, Liquid Force, Airush, Starboard, Flexifoil, Crazyfly and Cardboards.

We now offer camper hire if you want to do a Western Australian kite beach trip or we also have our beachside accommodation in Safety Bay.
