Hire Conditions

IKO Qualification

It is a requirement that you have reached IKO Level 2 in order to rent gear (excluding trainer kites) from West Oz Kiteboarding to use on your own. If you do not have a certified IKO Level 2 card we will need to assess you, after which time we will provide you with certification that you can use worldwide. There is a flat fee of $50 for this assessment.

Payment Information

A $100 deposit is required to hold your equipment with the balance to be paid upon collection. We require the following bond - $300 for harness/trainer kite, $1000 for kiteboard, $2000 for kite & $3000 for kite package. We take a swipe (authorization) of your credit card and drivers licence details as you will be responsible for repair of any damage or cost to any lost kite or board.
